What we collect

When you add an event we collect your name, firm, work email, role and, if you give it, your mobile number, along with the event details and your consent choices. We record a one-way hash of your IP address to stop spam. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shortlist is stored in your own browser and never reaches us.

Why we use it

• To check and publish the event you submitted, and to contact you if something needs confirming. The basis is our legitimate interest in running an accurate guide.
• If you are the host, to follow up about the event, including places or codes for readers. The basis is our legitimate interest.
• If you ticked the box, to tell you about side events and related private markets opportunities. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who sees it

Your details are never published on the site. They are held by Leela Regulatory Solutions Ltd and our processors: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and database, and our customer relationship management system. We don't sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Submissions are kept for up to 24 months after the event, then deleted, unless you've asked to hear from us and haven't opted out.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent, by emailing amarsden@leelacapital.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
